Count in group in Crystal 9.2

Hi,people.
I have to show the items,items' details, group by department(count(item)has to be >=2).
I include count(item)into SelectExpert formula but I don't get any positive results.
I'll appreciate any suggestions.

Use the count function for group selection, NOT record selection. Go to report->edit selection formula->GROUP and enter:

count({table.item},{table.department}) >= 2

Substitute the correct field names for item and your department group.

Please explain what you mean by "doesn't work"--did you get an error message? Are you getting results other than what you expect? Please provide the actual formula you used, a sample of your results, and a sample of the results you expect to see.
