Count groups of records

I have an Access report with multiple grouping fields. How do I count the number of subgroups in a group? (rather than the number of records in the subgroup)

That would depend on how the subgroups are set up inside the Main Group. You would probably have to add another grouping inside your Main Groups to set a count on subgroups. Hard to say without a little more information about the report structure.
