I've seen a few threads on this but none with an answer that I can get to work. I'm just trying to do a count for statusid = 37 in my report. I've been trying to do it in the group header and would like it there if at all possible. Any help would be great. Wish something like Count for {Status.StatusID = 37} would work =)

Thanks

You will need 2 objects to put it in the header:

First a formula field to do the condition:

If {Status.StatusID} = 37
then 1 else 0

This will create a column of values of with a one on the appropriate records. place it on the detail band and suppress it.

Then you can insert a subtotal or grand total of this field and sum the ones. Select the formula field on the detail band and use "Insert - Subtotal/Grand Total" Ken Hamady

Thanks a million I owe you one. Didn't even think of doing anything like that but it works sweet =)
