Couldn't find Installable ISAM 1

I'm getting this message trying to access a Dbase III database using VB6 under Windows 2000. I created a program on a Windows 98 machine that ran just fine using the same file, then tried to run it on my Windows 2000 machine, got this error message and recreated a simple program to access the same file and got the same message. I would have to assume Windows 2000 is the problem, not the database or the fact that it's dBase III.

Hi wvjim,
I had the same problem but with Btrieve. Problem is:
there is missing or not registred proper DLL for DbaseIII.

I instolled from MS Office (custom installation),
DLL for old database format.

May be this a clue for your problem.
