Well, I also will be nasty enough :) to ask yo to look at my new Web site and provide your crititcal comments. It's still "under constrcution" but 75% of the stuff is already there. I will be very thankful for any comments. The address is the following:

Thanks!

Having had a quick look, it appears to be a very nice, clean looking site (I'll have a longer look later). At this point my only comment is that when you use the phrase "about Belarusian language" to be correct English it should be "about the Belarusian language". It's only a small point though, otherwise excellent!

Hi Rydel,

Your site looks good for me in IE4.0 and NN4.73

Here are some remarks:

1) In IE I gor an error
"Line 110:"
"Error: 'd.documentElement.offsetHeight' is not an object"

2) In NN the advertising-banners in the <iframe> don't work.
Do a key-word search to find an answer for this.

3) At the end of your code you are missing:
</tr>
</table>

NN won't forgive you this and won't display the table for you !!

Erik

Actually, having had a second look, I don't have anything to add. Using IE6 I don't get any errors at all.

thanks to everyone. i actually updated it a little bit. but my next question is the following: i need a forum and i don't feel like reinventing the wheel. do you know of any freeware (or shareware) forums (in ASP)? thanks a lot in advance! ---

Paulwood, I know of asp101.com or aspin (and I am one of the avid users). The problem is that just in one section (Bulltetin Board Systems or Forums, ) it lists 50 forums. Even if I make an optimistic estimate and take only 15-20 minutes for each forum to download, install and run on my IIS (including possilbe restarts), and look through readme and features, it still takes at least 24 hours non-stop work (e.g. three full working days). So I was curious, if somebody already can recommend something based on their own experiences. ---
