Hi!

I have a split database using Tony's front-end updater, and am still receiving the "Could not update; currently locked" error several times per day. The user base is six but they usually aren't all in it concurrently.

I believe I have the table set to no locks, and the front-end is on each user's machine.

I'm at a loss for what to check next. Any ideas?

Just some thoughts...

Is this only on 1 user's PC? Could that user have some different defaults setup in MS Access?

I once had a user with every version of MS Access installed and there was an issue with corruption of one or more MS Access DLLs/Libs/etc. I reinstalled MS Access, following proper timing, earliest version first, and magically the issue disappeared.

htwh... good luck!
