Could not open one or more attachments 1

One I get attachments I can open the e-mail message once, but if I try to forward it or open it again, I get "Could not open one or more attachments".

It's very intermittent, it doesn't happen on all messages.

It seems to be related to when I transfered e-mail from an old server, as I don't seem to have the problem as much with new e-mail addresses.

Hi Doug,

Given the nature of the problem you are discussing, could this be down to corruption? Have you tried scanning your / the users PST if the problem occurs at that level. Or have you checked the integrity of the Priv.edb?

It sounds like there may be a degree of corruption in the attachements table. This would most defintely be the cause if you have ever run eseutil /p (and perhaps not used an offline defrag followed by isinteg).
