could not install interbase on win nt 4

i could not install my interbase on my windows nt 4 server, i got an "critical error : Ibcheck" message, any idea what's goin on ?

note:
i have tried installing it on my laptop and it works just fine

In the past I had some similar problems with interbase.
The way I solved it was:
Installing Interbase before Delphi and BDE administrator. After that it worked just fine. But I still do not know what the problem was. S. van Els
