Could not find Net Adress

The WAN is composed of 6 Novell 5 servers. The one in the main office holds the Root partition of the tree. The others hold the master of their respective portions of NDS.

One of the branch servers is producing high NCP traffic to the main office server. After a bit of investigation - I find timesync working but 355 errors when I do a full unattended repair om that server. This has been happening over for a couple of days now.

I checked the other server network address from this server thru dsrepair and find the 'Could not find net address' error for the other servers.

Any ideas or steps in fixing/troubleshooting this item. ========================================

In DSREPAIR, have you performed a "Check External References"? -----------------------------------------------------

Since this is NetWare v5.x, have you configured SLP on your Servers?

SLP is very easy to configure and is HIGHLY recommended for NetWare v5.x environments!

Investigation:

SLP: typed DISPLAY SLP SERVICES produces results on both systems which I am assuming makes SLP enabled on both.

external reference check produced backlink obituary errors on the Main office and the target branch office. This branch office has a master of it's own respective partition and read-write copy of the main office partition. While no problems occur in offices with a master replica of their respective partition. I did some unattended repair on the
branch office which produced 355 errors. ========================================
