Hi All,

I have a problem with my username that I get login to solaris 5.10 zone but it displaying message as following:

login as: john
Using keyboard-interactive authentication.
Password:
Last login: Thu Sep 8 07:05:03 2011 from 10.83.8.97
Could not chdir to home directory /home/john: Permission denied
Sun Microsystems Inc. SunOS 5.10 Generic January 2005

Could you please help me?

You really need to find out with what permissions /home/john has been created with and have your system administrator adjust them accordingly.

The internet - allowing those who don't know what they're talking about to have their say.
 
May also want to look at any zone or mount issues.
