I just installed a motherboard , i booted it and it was fine.. I was using an old monitor is missing a few pins but works.. well it flew past post and i wanted to see if it was reading the memory .. so I rebooted .... I didn't install anything.. board was still factory nothing loaded off cd that came with it? anyway :( now it won't boot any video ... says no signal.. tried different monitor different video card ..( I know card and monitor works) and nothing... Did I do something to the BIOS? by skippin that first step? It went right to a BIOS type screen .. didn't really look much at it truthfully .. wanted to see my memory.. I was wonderin if I would have to flash the BIOS again ? and know I didn't make a floppy of it or could I have done something to the AGP..Such aggrevation ... Thanks for any help....

I feel your pain. Hardware is really so frustrating when it doesn't work.
However, if you did not touch the board after turning on the PC, I seriously doubt anything was fried because of a reboot. That said, you did not specify what board it is.
You say the monitor works, and that you tried another vid card. That means you've put your hands all over it again. I hope you do not have any static problems, because that could indeed spell the end of the board, or the vid card. But before panicking, remove all components (after having suitably grounded yourself) and put back the vid card and a screen, and RAM and a hard disk, just to be sure.
Once all that is in, use the CMOS jumper to reinitialize it, then restart the PC.
Then come back and tell us what happens.
