Costrain Movies

I am trying to constrain the boundaries of a movie clip. I don't know how. For example, I have a movie clip that is 300 x 200 px. But I only want to have 150 x 100 showing. Sort of like a mask, but without having to make a mask.

Why not just modify the movie's size to what you want it to be?
MODIFY->Movie
Although you might have to reposition your elements!

The only other way, I can think of, would be the use of a mask, a real one, or just a filled rectangle with a cut out allowing you to mask the rest of the movie.
