Dear Guys...

Inventory cost showing wrongly in the inventory movement report. in the IC Setup Allow Negative Inventory Levels disabled.

Importantly, in the location detail screen our average cost showing correctly suddenly it was gone up during the shippment entry an invoice its showing in the report.

We have checked in I/C Valuation,Stock Transaction and inventory movement Reports showing incorrectly.

Will you please tell me? why this disparity? in the location detail screen my average cost showing correctly.

we done a credit note against that sales invoice and again we rasised an invoice but same thing happening.

Costing method:FIFO
ACCPAC 5.5A with Product Update 2
MS-SQL 2005

The inventory movement report has bugs, don't use it. Use the Inventory valuation report.

Bug?...

after posting this thread i done a credit note against an invoice before that i went to location detail screen i noted down the average cost was 8.70 after done a credit note against an invoice. my average cost is 22.25 in that location. its wrong!!

Well item valuation report also showing the same.

You are using FIFO costing, why are you looking at average cost?

thanks for the reply i havent seeing the average cost my concern is why the inventory movement showing incorrectly?

Stick to posting questions in one forum, your answer is in the other forum.

why the cost calculating wrongly? when i am doing some entries in my laptop its fine...

Didn't you read my first post? The report has bugs in it, that's why it's wrong.

but its showing in all inventory reports. you said bug in the inventory movement report but it show under these report as well

1.Inventory Valuation
2.Stock Transaction

Read the costing section in the IC user guide, maybe then you will understand the difference between average and FIFO costing.
