COS and hunt groups.

Am I correct that if I allocate a Hunt group a COS (I need to set the CFNA timer out to let all the phones in the group ring once before it goes to overflow) it only applies to the group and that the individual phones in that group retain all their own COS if rung as an individual (so that the CFNA timer is much shorter for their voicemail)

or does allocating the hunt group COS overide the extension COS at all times?

3300 with 7.0.22.5 software.

Hunt groups only proceed to the next member if previous members are busy. Once a call is ringing a hunt group member it will continue to do so until the members RNA timer expires. RNA does not apply to the Hunt Group period.

You might want to try a ring group instead.

Thanks KWB I realised this as I was posting..unforch release 7 does not have ring groups.
