Hello,
Im working through building up a Cortelco/eOn Millennium DBCS8 PBX from a blank database with no manual as a hobby project. The built in help system is pretty good and I’ve also had some help with obtaining the serial pinout and password reset process.
I’m able to program many features of the system (extensions, LCR, hunt lists, etc) but what has me stumped is setting up a simple “busy indicator speed dial” button so one MET30 phone can dial another and see its status (kind of like an AVAYA Definity G3 busy-ind button). At first I thought it would be a dedicated button type I could put on the phone but it seems I need to use a “REPERTORY” button instead (and corresponding REP database entry). Does anyone here have any examples of working eon REPs or REP buttons I could please reference — I’ve tried many of the options available but all I get is a dial tone or busy signal.
The rep feature seems super powerful but not very intuitive if you’re unfamiliar with the mnemonics and flying blind like I am. Would love to figure this out and appreciate any help or wisdom anyone can share.
On a side note I’ve tried finding the manuals for this machine but no one seems to have them anymore sadly.
Thank you
bc
