I have come across this on a couple of sites now, in system config, the telephony tab, all the settings mysteriously changed to 0 (zero) and in extensions, hook persistency set to zero. Corruption or some sort of memory leak? Both sites 2.1.27

is there an old version of the manager still inuse on the customers site, this can cause strange problems

No, I have fallen foul of this in the past, never again.

Also packet loss over the network when making changes can create havoc within a config. More so over a WAN than a LAN of course

Soopa Doopa Intergalactic IP Office installation mechanic and configuration corruptor from way back.

If possible comapare the values from an older config and try and work out when it happened.
i.e.
check locale settings, before an after etc.....

We have had corruption mainly on new Install's, on sites after Exporting and Importing CSV files, last site couldn't get any calls into the switch had to copy and paste config from 1 manager to another which some how sorted the problem.
Crane Tech support seem to use corruption as a cop out, more often than not when you place a support call with them, the last thing you need to hear whilst having a problem on a large site is that you need to Manually re-type the config.

So right about Crane, probabley one of the reasons why Tech Tips is so popular.

Just to add - Crane Tech support aren't the only ones to use this 'excuse' - anyone ever call Siemens? ;)
