I have corruption on /tmp. My Hardware is OK.
I'm using AIX ML-04.

This corruption happened since I installed a new software (It's not an IBM product.).

The corruption happened when I execute a command (ABC start) of the new software, but not all the time. But each time the corruption happened, the "ABC start" was launched.

Is there some "tools" to use, to find out if it's the command launched or something else that cause the corruption.

Any help will be appreciate... Thanks.

When you say corruption , do you mean the application doesn't start ?

Check for core files generated where you run the program from .

Did you check the pre-requesites when the program was installed , it could be memory related i.e. works sometime
and doesn't on other occasions
