Hi,
I have 2 users that have been working on the same Word (2000) document, at separate. The document is saved on our network, so both have access to it.
During the course of working on this document, it became corrupted - just a small part of the document, with some wing dings type text and several page breaks.
I've managed to restore the last clean version of the document from our backup tapes.
I've also scanned both PCs for viruses, both were clean.
My question is...how can I prevent (or reduce the likelihood) of this re-occuring. Is there a possibility that the recovered document may corrupt again?
Any questions I can ask the users that may have caused the corruption in the first. Perhaps it could be related to a computer crash, or network failure at the time the document was open?
Any thoughts/pearls or wisdom would be greatly appreciated.
