Corrupted home directory or profiles problem

One of my user logs into the PDC domain from an NT WK 4. His profile and home directory is stored in separate shares in the PDC. His printer is no longer there, Internet Explorer gives error messages when going to a site. When I log in as another user in the same NT WK, no problems occurrs. Is it the home directory/profiles corrupted?. If so, how do I fix it? Thanks.
