Been there. Your best bet is to use a DBF-fixer such as dSalvage. [sig]<p>Robert Bradley<br><a href=mailto: > </a><br><a href= - Visual FoxPro Development</a><br> [/sig]

But the program support only .dbf not .scx [sig][/sig]

The SCX is a DBF (well, DBF format, anyway).

For example, you can execute:

[tab]use myform.scx

and open a form as a table. Of course, your form is broken, so you'll end up with the same error. [sig]<p>Robert Bradley<br><a href=mailto: > </a><br><a href= - Visual FoxPro Development</a><br> [/sig]

Sorry FoxDev

Just To Ask

Do You Have A utility to recover the code of the form because I think it is hopeless otherwise

Thanks [sig][/sig]

I don't have such a tool, though maybe someone else here might.

You could try opening the SCT as a regular file, and see if you can find and extract any method code that way. For example:

[tab][tt]modify command MyForm.SCT nomodify[/tt]

Hi Chris

In addition to FoxDev's suggestion, if you can open the form as a table, you can extract the method code from the method field of each object.

If you'll post your email address, I'll send you a repair utility you can try.

Or you can send the form to me and I'll see if I can get it repaired. [sig]<p>Jon Hawkins<br><a href=mailto: jonscott8@yahoo.com> jonscott8@yahoo.com</a><br><a href= > </a><br>Focus on the solution....Not the problem.[/sig]
