I have a user who connected overnight through her ICA session to our network over the Internet. While she was working, she sent a large Powerpoint job to the printer... Unfortunately, she sent it to the wrong one. Rather than her home printer, she sent it to a Laser Printer located at the office. The printer, although a network printer, was off at the time, so the job just queued up...
The next day, she opened her ICA session connected over the LAN and deleted the job from the print queue, then turned the printer on.
The problem is that the job still shows up in her queue in her Citrix Session as 'deleting'. If you look at the actual printer queue from the server, however, there is nothing in the queue and nobody else is having a problem printing. If this one user tries to print through her Citrix session, however, she can't, because her print jobs queue up under this one that is 'deleting'.
My next thought was just to delete the printer, then reconnect to it from her client... well, it won't delete the printer because the printer has a job in it which is in a 'deleting' state - which isn't really deleting....
So I guess what I'm getting at is how should I get rid of this? Should I have her connect and then go into the CMC and see if I can find the process thats running for this and terminate it? Will that do it? Should I log into Citrix as this user and delete a key uner HKLM for this user? Which key? I see a couple mentioning the printer, but I don't want to blindly go deleting keys... I won't do it unless I know what will be affected...
