Hello all,

I have a corrupt folder on a shared drive on my file and print server. I would like to delete this directory as it is not used, but I am denied. Any ideas?

Thank you!

Try deleting it from the command prompt;
Assuming you have the rights to the folder in questions
1. Navigate to the corrupted directory Use the DEL command with the /S to delete all files and sub-directories
2. If the directory is in a very deep directory tree, use the SUBST command to creat a fake mapping to the folder ex)
SUBST X: d:\folder1\sub1\sub2\sub3\sub4\sub5. Go to X: and then start your deletions
