Corrupt file on media error

I keep getting the following error on my backups. WARNING : File\.[Root]\.CN=Security\.CN=SNL DELW Organizational CA. CN=Secutity. [Root] is corrupt on media. I am using BackupExec 9.1.1152 and I am not verifying the backup after it completes. I have followed the steps listed in document id 275965 from symantec's web site. Does any one have any suggestions.
