Hi,

I'm having a problem with a corrupt file in win2k.

The file has a weird greater than or equal to character in it. In explorer it says the file is 5 MBs but when I click on properties it says it is O kB. When I try to move/copy/edit name or delete the file it says
Cannot Delete File: Cannot read from the source file or disk.

When I rebooted the computer it started to run CHKDSK. CHKDSK ended up with a blue screen that had the error
MULTIPLE_IRP_COMPLETE_REQUESTS and halted the computer.

The only way I can boot up now is if I cancel CHKDSK on the boot up. The file still has an error. In addition I can't run any diagnostics in windows because it keeps telling me that there is a CHKDSK /F scheduled and that I have to run CHKDSK /F before I can defrag or check for errors.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Felix
