Dear Friends

I have just installed a brand new 60GB 7200 speed drive into my computer and installed Windows XP Home Edition. Everything has upgraded / partitioned very nicely except for MS Office 2000.

Before I installed the new drive MS Office 2000 was installed on the "D" drive of my secondary set but on installing the new drive the "D" drive became "F" drive. On double-clicking the Winword.exe the following error appears:

""" This application must be installed to run. Please run setup from the location where you originally installed the application """

The 60 gig is the C partition, there is an 1.5 SCSI configured as E drive and a 1 gig SCSI partitioned as an F drive.

The C and E drives are NTFS and the F drive is FAT.

When i try to open a program on the F drive a message appears saying:

The request could not be performed because of an I/O error.

Any ideas

Thanks in advance

If you've installed new o/s you'll need to reinstall Office
