Corrupt db

I am getting the error 'The Microsoft Jet database engine stopped the process because you and another user are attempting to change the same data at the same time'. Database will not open at all. I tried jetcomp.exe but it wouldn't open the db.

I noticed the ldb file isn't there. Can i create a fake one?

Any suggestions?

The .ldb file isn't created until the db is opened. What you can try and do is create a new blank db and try importing the objects into the new db. You may be able to recover most of the data.

Thank you. I tried importing into a new db, but received same error message. Surely there's a way to unlock a db, isn't there?

You can try googling the error message. There is a lot of stuff written around that message.
