I have an Access 2000 front with linked tables to SQL Server 2000. In some of my tables, the fields have values of (-1.#IND). Has anyone ever seen data corruption like this? When I try to change the error SQL Server throws a floating point exception error.

Thanks for any help.

How are you viewing the data?

Are you sure it is not just the representation of the data you are seeing on the view of the data. Try widen the column out on where you are doing the view. Many times if the data is too wide to fit in the column space it will show you the floating point representation of the data. There may be nothing wrong with the data.

Find another way to view the data, like in Query Analyzer, before making an assumption about corrupt data.
