I have inherited a system and am fairly new to solaris. I noticed in my /etc/vfstab file that the following file systems have the correct device in the 'device to mount' column. But 'device to fsck' column indicates disk c3t2do.
This disk is not currently being used.
Obviously the SE that fat-fingered the second entry. Is there any issues with correcting this entry. I assume that
I will have to unmount and mount ufs after change? Is this correct?
/dev/dsk/c2t3d0s0 /dev/rdsk/c3t2d0s0 /u05 ufs 2 yes -
/dev/dsk/c2t3d0s1 /dev/rdsk/c3t2d0s1 /u06 ufs 2 yes -
/dev/dsk/c2t3d0s3 /dev/rdsk/c3t2d0s3 /u07 ufs 2 yes -
