On HP Proliant ML530 server from time to time (four times in 11 months) I received message:
Corrected Memory Error threshold exceeded (System Memory, Memory Module 4), Class: Mian Memory, Severity: Caution, Count: 1 (always same memory module from time to time server is restarted due to various software install and tuning).
This server has Windows 2000 Advanced Server with Oracle Internet Application Server. At this point I am confused is this error caused by faulty hardware or it is caused by software.
Any advice how I could progress further with this problem.
Should I run some software test?
We keep server room quite hot (81-90 F, 27-32 C depending on position in front or back of servers), but can't help this at the moment as it would require new air conditioning units.
Kind regards
Dubi
