Ive got a system running with a Voiceflex sip and dialing out using a few short codes 0N; Dial 0N"@sip.voiceflex.com" 1N; Dial 1N"@sip.voiceflex.com" etc and for local numbers I have the same for 4N, 5N etc..
None of these are call ARS they are just shortcodes. What would be the right way to set these up using ARS?

Why do you want to change it? are you wanting to add alternative routes in case of failure?

if not then my advise would always be "If it ain't broke don't fix it"

Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

Cool, if thats an acceptable way to do it then Im happy.

One thing though is the local extensions are all 201, 202 etc, if I do a 2N shortcode (I havnet yet) will that stop the dialing of local extensions?

Also do I need a ? rule if I have the rest covered?

You don't need the "@voiceflexblahblah" crap in the shortcodes, dont know why Avaya and providers put it in admin guides :)

The local extensions will override the 2N short code in my experiance.

Dermis and feline can be divorced by manifold methods.*
*(Disclaimer for all advise given)--'Version Dependent'

Extn always wins, 2N is a good catchall for mis-dialled numbers, I used to use it as such :)
