Correct type to "For Each" through a collection

When I “For Each” through a collection I usually use a Variant type control variable. However, in the case of the Forms collection or Controls collection, what type of control variable should I use? I have successfully used type Form and Control respectively in these “For Each” loops but am wondering if this is really correct since the items in a collection are themselves variants.

If you know in advance exactly what type of object is in the collection, then it is more efficient to use that type when looping through that collection.
