Hello all.

I am in the process of removing DLT tapes out of a Sun L11000 tape robot. What is the correct way to do this so that all the DBs and configuration is up to date? Also, how can I eject more that one tape at a time? Turns out I've got around 70 full tapes...this could take years. Lastly, when I place a brand new tape in and it tried to back up to that tape, Netbackup reports that that tape already contains ANSI formatted data on it and then that media is frozen? How can it contain any formatted data on it if it is BRAND new???

Thanks in advance,
Josh

I think that the only way to eject multiple tapes on UNIX is to do it via command line (robtest, tldtest ...) or to submit the "eject from robot" command multiple times.
