I saw the tip that it is necessary to install the Palm desktop as the user. I added a user to the local admin group, and installed the Palm software and the CorporateSync software (the client for Corporate Time)while logged on as the user. After the install, Hotsync worked fine.
I removed the user from the local admin group, logged back on as the user, and then the problems started. The Hotsync reports that the operation completed, but there were some errors.
The errors were for the CorporateSync conduits: "CorporateSync for Palm has expired."
I've tried different versions of the Palm SW, and various combinations of soft resets.
We are an NT domain, with all users using win2k desktops.
The problems have been with Palm V, using a serial cradle.
We have a ticket in with Oracle, but if there are any insights in the mean time, it would be appreciated!
