Can anyone give me some feedback about how well AVG Network Edition works in a corporate environment.

I'm leaning heavily towards moving from Symantec to AVG for cost reasons -- the cost difference over two years would be close to $1500 (about 30 workstations). However, before doing the switch, I'd like to find a few more references.

Thanks!

It works OK....at the moment I have just moved to n 7.5 and the centralised updating is broken - probably a config error by me.

I also NEVER got the remote install to work properly, having tried loads of different methods. I ended up doing the initial install at each station from a network share, and it worked fine afterwards.

One of the main reasons we use it is we have old PC's - the overhead of Norton or MacAfee slowed them to a halt - ACG seems to have a minimal effect on performance.

The system is non-intrusive to the users (except when there is a problem) and the centralised reports let you see the state of all workstations, last login, last update, etc.
