Our company email works like you'd expect it to : on the inside, and on the outside.
However, if you come in from the outside with the outside SMTP/POP/IMAP server info, it won't work. I'd like to know how to make it work without opening the firewall up (I wouldn't mind so much, but the Firewall Guy doesn't want to).
Maybe I can tinker with DNS, maybe there's a script I can write to make it switch... I don't know! Main email client is Microsoft Outlook, though we in IT also use Thunderbird.
