I COULDNT USE THE M3903,M3904 SETS CORPORATE DIRECTORY WITH OTM AT RLS 25.15

PLEASE TELL ME HOW CAN I SET UP THIS FEATURE AT THE PBX SIDE AND ALSO THE OTM SIDE.

THIS IS URGENT PLEASE HELP ME.

We don't have OTM. We have the little brother (MAT). As I recall, it was a matter of using a "report" function within MAT. MAT would then connect to the switch and upload the information to the switch. You might look in the "reports" section of OTM.

Maybe this could help
Make a list in Excel which includes Last name, first name and DN
save it as CPDIR.CSV

then save it to M1 in c:/u/db/

Then... go to debuger

- pdt> symload
- pdt> INIT_CORP_DIR

Watch out for big load on the PBX

BUT I COULDNT USE IT AT MY M3903 AND M3904 PHONES ALSO THEIR CLS HAVE CRPA

Since you have OTM with you, you can use it for corporate directory. Be careful while uploading directory using PDT, because some times it can corupt your data.

First, reterive all information from PABX using "Station Administration" in OTM.

Second, go to "Utilities" from OTM Navigator window and select the Corporate Directory. A new window will show you the diffrent directories. Double click the the "M1CorporateDirectory". Select the switch you want to UPLOAD the information then press okay. You will be back in previsous windows, from here go to the "File" and generate the report. The job will go in the Schduler ( Schduler must be running before doing this). Idealy it will upload the info.

I had one lot of M3904 which did not support this feature, so make sure your M3904 set support this feture and it must have CLS= CRPA.

HAVE CAN I UNDERSTAND THAT MY M3904 SUPPORT OR NOT THIS FEATURE?

BECAUSE I DID WHATEVER YOU SAID.

AND ALSO MY SW RLS IS 25.15

HAVE I NEED TO USE EXTRA PATCHES FOR THAT FEATURE?
