Corporate Directory shows wrong number

I have a user that has switched locations (cities), his information has been updated in AD and shows his new correct number, but the CUCM Corporate Directory shows his old number. How do I change this to his new number? His new phone is set to his name and login in CUCM and his VM is set to his new number and login in Unity. It has been this way for several weeks now. The systems have been synced.

NOTE: His old number was a PBX number and not a CUCM number.

 
Go to User management then end user and find that specific user and change the extension on their profile.Should update within 30 minutes or so.
 
Under Device Information I have associcated the Controlled Device to his phone. I set the Primary Extension to his new number. I have synced the server with LDAP again. Under Permissions Infomation I am "unable" to add this person to a User Group. When I hit the Add to User Group button, I can select the proper group, but I am not able to find his name when I do a look up.

I have not encoutered this before and not sure what the issue is.

He still shows up with his old number.

Ideas ???

 
Spunkysus has your solution above. The directory is populated by the user's profile, not the phone profile. Also check spelling of name.
