Corp Directory

Hi All,

Hope someone would be able to help.

We've got a CS1000 rls 5.5 and I was wondering if we had the ability to setup a corporate directory?

Currently, I get Directory unavailable when pressing the button on the phone.

Do we need an extra product or am I just missing something.

I did see the FAQ about this but I'm struggling to follow so if thats the solution, could someone help guide me where to go?

I'm new to Nortel so would appreciate any help?

You need Telephony Manager and Common Name Directory (an application that is bundled with Telephony Manager (TM)).

You build the name and extension assignments in the Common Name Directory, and then configure the corporate directory module of TM to extract that information and upload it to the pbx.

Is there anyway to do it without using TM?
