Hi,

We have a CS1000E (81c) running 4.5 and TM 3.10.

I am trying to getup the Corp Directory to upload to the PBX but I'm not having any luck.

I'm able to generate and view the corp directory file in TM Manager however when I run the schedule to upload it to the PBX the job just sits in queue and shows as running....it never fails.

When I try to access corp directory from my 3904 is says Directory Unavailable even though I have the right CLS.

Any direction would be appreciated.

Have you sync'ed the Common Names Directory (CND) in TM3.1?

When the corporate directory job runs in the scheduler, it is a 2 step process. Step 1 creates the directory, then step 2 uploads the file via FTP to the PBX.

Have you tried manually generating the directory, and watching the job run on the TM server? Immediately after the file is generated, an additional job should be automatically entered in the scheduler to upload the file to the selected systems.

If the job is failing during the upload, make sure you can FTP to the PBX from the TM server.

CPND will NOT run in TM3.1 unless you have configured and Sync'd CND Service, PERIOD!

...our interconnect came in loaded a patch which cleared the prolem. Guess I was doing it right afterall!

Thanks for your input though!

i've just install a tm 3.1
I 've the same problem.
The report of CD is created properly.
But the second task that upload the file to the switch does not work.
I verify the configuration of ftp server and username and password.
I've 2 question.
How i can sync the cnd with the cpnd in the pbx?
The userid and password for ftp server must be the same of pdt level 2 of the switch?

The only way I have ever been able to FTP into my CS1000M v4.5 is using PDT and PDT2 logins.

I didn't know it was even possible to ftp info from CND to CPND.

I've never seen the CNDSync Job do that.

Wait a sec, your talking Corp Directory not Common Name Directory.

Sorry. I got confused

Eddie79it,

You need to install and configure the Common Name Directory (CND) application on the TM server, then Synchronize the CND database with the CPND database that TM uses.

The CND database is the source for the Corporate Directory.

There are pretty clear instructions in the TM I&M documentation.
