cork memo board

How would I go about making a cork memo board in a kind of vector format (for a website)? I want it to look quite cartoony and have pieces of paper (one long thin for the nav and a bigger one for the content) pinned on using drawing pins (with other things pinned on around the edges).

In my head it looks and works great, but I can`t make the vector cork board to look anywhere near any good

Hi,

Why do you want to make this vector? So you can scale? My suggestion to you would be to go a google search for [Photoshop Tutorials + Cork Board] I'm quite sure you can create a cork board from scratch using native photoshop tools. This way it won't matter what size you need and you can create it to any size desired.

After you've done that though if you are still looking for a more vector look take alook at Filter > Artistic > Cutout (makes good representations of vector images)

Just a thought.
