CorelDraw9 on Win XP, problem with Acrobat Distiller

I have been using CorelDraw 9 and Adobe Acrobat 5 on my old Windows ME computer without problem. I have installed CorelDraw 9 on my new HP xw4200 workstation (Windows XP Professional, 1gm RAM, 3ghz Pentium 4, 66gb free space, NVIDIA Quadro NVS 280 PCI/PCI-E video driver, AdobePS Acrobat Distiller Driver). When I distill a CorelDraw file using Acrobat Distiller version 5 or 6, the process takes an exceptionally long time (10, 15, 20 minutes or more, depending on the complexity of the CorelDraw file. This process used to take seconds. Is there a compatibility issue? Is there a patch or fix available?
