We have recently purchased new PCs and upgraded from Windows 2000 Pro to Windows XP Pro. Using CorelDraw9, the same version we were using in Win2K, pantone colors from the older files sometimes appear as RGB White or Black. This only occurs with some files, not with others.

Another issue is that sometimes imported bitmaps are now replaced by black RGB rectangles.

Finally...to make this even more bizarre, the preview of the file looks just fine.

C O N F U S E D ! ! !

Any insight would be more than appreciated!

Tom

You've installed both SPs for v9, right? Try booting into safe mode and see if you can duplicate the colors going black. If you can't duplicate it, you've got a video driver issue - you may want to update your video drivers (or roll them back to an older version... sometimes the latest drivers are not the best to use).
