I'm running OS9.1. I'm using Corel Draw 8.03 (already downloaded the patch for OS9).
Every time I try to use the type tool, the program crashes with a "type2" error and after a few times, nothing on my system runs correctly (despite corel being opened or not). I've tried turning ATM off after hearing that might be a conflict. I've even tried starting with all extenstions off - to no avail. Can anyone help? Any other known MAC and corel conflicts?
(I run most every MAC design program known)

Normally a Type 2 error is to do with memory, or Fonts. when you say you have turn ATM off are you running ATM light or deluxe?

I have found that having to many fonts open can cause very odd errors. If you can't fix it in 20 call someone who can.

Hi,
Have you upped the ram allocation for Corel Draw? I find that if you're running a boatload of fonts this often helps. It's the first thing I do now after installing any application. Get Info-->memory.
Best of luck,
PT
