I've been running Coreldraw 8 on a win2kpro machine for a year with few problems. Early on I had a problem with the workspace not showing the file menu on the main toolbar and I can't remember how I fixed it.

Suddenly Corel started using 100% of the CPU in trying to save files. It locks up with 26-36& of the drawing saved. I've re-installed once so far ... what is going on?

May be related: why does the Corel/Corel8/config driectory have the same Corelapp.ini and other config files as: Documents & Settings/Adminstrator/Corel/Config? {please turn the slashes around :^)}

Thanks for any help, this is very important to my business!!

Have a postscript printer as your default printer and have it on line at start up - or set to file. Draw needs to be happy with its default printer at start up, with later versions pressing F8 on starting Draw reset the default workspace, not sure about V8. Perhaps the time hase come to upgrade you will see significant improvements and V8 can still be on your system as well.
