i just did a fresh install of coreldraw 12, and when i try to start it, a splash screen of the flame and the pencil shows up for a second and then it disappears and nothing happens... does anyone know why it would do this? if you have any answer as to why it does this it would be greatly appreciated. thank you in advance

Make sure that your default printer is powered on and available. If that doesn't help, do the old F8 trick - hold down F8 while starting the app until it asks you to reset the workspace back to factory defaults. If that doesn't work, stick in the CD and do a repair on the install.
