Corel x3 replacing fonts no warning

hi guys. got a problem with Corel x3.just installed onto 2 new machines (running Vista) and when i open files it keeps replacing some fonts with microsoft uighur font. It does this with out any warning of missing fonts and also repleaces fonts I actully have on the machines. As you can imagine this is a real nightmare. I have treid looking in the corel help and all the settings, but cant find any thing to help.

forgot to add, i have installed all the patches from corel for running on vista
