Corel WordPerfect 8 - some files lock up with this error 1

1.Windows Error Report:

"This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down.

If the problem persists, contac the program vendor"

2. I may have to uninstall / reinstall the WP8 software? I have reinstalled WP8 on top of itself.

3. This happens when more than one document is being opened. Not all documents have this error problem.

4. Is there a utility for WP files that may have a corruption?

Hi khobson, thanks for tip. Have reviewed and am now testing. Should have results in a couple days. (Had to recover several users with system crashes).
