Corel for Linux

I have just switched to Linux at home and I am looking for a good program to edit photos. I have gimp which is an excellent program for web grahics but not photo editing. I also purchased a corel for linux but it is not compatible with the newer version of linux.

anybody know of a good program for the new lenux 2.5 I believe version. any way the newest version of Linux.
