Corel Draw Slow ~ HELP

Recently installed fonts. Now corel draw 11 is giving me a spinning cursor every time I click on text.
How do I streamline this to make it faster, yet keep my fonts available?

I suspect it may be the number of fonts actually installed (not just on your hard disk) Font Navigator came with Corel Draw and it works fairly well.
