I'm using Corel Draw 11 and totally randomnly it will print white rectangles over pieces of text. They do not show on the screen or on preview but are very hard to get rid of. Deleteing the text object and re doing it does not work, generally I have to export all the other objects from the page to a new page and then add my new piece of text. There is no pattern I can see to when where or how it occurs, the only thing I can deduce is that it seems to be linked to the page in some way. It is not just a white filled object or any simple thing like that and it has completely baffled me. Would be great to know if anyone else has had this problem. Thanks for reading!

Hi
I think your problem is with the background of the text. If it's placed in front of a bitmap image you will get those rectangles.
I had the same problem on a BussinesCard. I had in the background a rectanle (bitmap) and at printig i got some wierd colored rectagles.
I solved my problem by converting all the print layout to a 600 DPI and then the print worked fine!

I know this is an old thread and may not get answered, but I had a similar problem using a large format printer. Images over a certain dimension just refused to print properly. It usually had to do with large chunks of fill, large bitmaps or large spans of text. There was never rhyme nor reason as to what it would and wouldn't print. It was an HP Designjet 500. It was supposed to be able to print 24" wide by over 50ft long - but somewhere around 3ft was the maximum it would print. I forget what the exact physical limitation was, but can find out if this sounds like a similar situation for you.
